These four advertisements were created for an advertising campaign for JMU's student run radio station, WXJM. The campaign was to gain general awareness of the station.
This ad was created to promote my radio show that aired on WXJM.
This advertisement was created for a collection of local music campaign for JMU's student run radio station, WXJM. It was printed in black on colored paper.
This was a project for class using Photoshop. The top image is the original and the bottom image is a recreation. The assignment was to redo the original through the use of a variety of brushes and image adjusting techniques. There were also a limited number of colors and shapes to start out with.
This assignment was to create a magazine cover. Miss Lonetta was created in Photoshop. One of the requirements was being on the cover. The main requirements were to focus on the design principles emphasis, contrast, balance, repetition, and proximity.
This project was to redesign an ad for the Galaria Wine and Chile Fiesta. (roll over image to see the original) The concept was to make a more visually pleasing ad. This was created using InDesign and was required to be in grayscale.
This was a project for class using Illustrator. The assignment was to redesign this image from a paper version. Basic techniques like the pen tool and smoothing tool were utilized through out the design.
This video was a project for an introductory video class. The assignment was to create a two-minute video that told a narrative. The main focus was on combining several different shots (close ups, mid-shots, wide shots) that would create a smooth flowing video after editing. This video was created with iMovie. This assignment was to create an animation that depicts the motion of something real or imaginary. The animation could be for entertainment, persuasive, or informational purposes. The frame rate had to be set to 12 or 15 fps. It required sound effects or music synchronized to the motion. A motion tween with a guide path was another requirement. I pieced together several different images to get the radio, knob, and dial looking realistic. The people that come across the stage during the songs are on a guide path. Audacity was used to edit songs with static to correspond with the changing channels. (Click the image to see the full animation)
